Have a Chairful Day!

Wow has it been this long since I updated this blog. Geeez!  My Bad!  I wanted to share a chair I made. I used one piece of card stock and a few scraps that I had laying around. I made the white flower with one of my Spellbinders Dies, frosted it with Glimmer Mist, I made the spirals with the remnants of the cardstock I used to make the chair with. The tiny roses are Prima. The adhesives I used were of course Helmar's 450 Quck Dry and  Helmar's Liquid Scrap Dots!  The name tag was cut from a Spellbinder's die as well!

Butterfly Card

 Today I was playing with my Spellbinders dies an created this card. I used two identical sheets of patterned card stock from my Mariposa Paper Pack. I cut out two identical pieces and attached one to the front of the card and one to the inside of the card. I then cut the window out with my Spellbinders Die, used black card stock to make the frame and attached the frame to the outside of the card and one to the inside of the card.  The patterned cards stock that I used had the butterfly on it. I cut out the two of them and used my Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots to pop up the butterflies.  

Halloween Hershey Bars

Hi Everyone,

Its getting late here but I wanted to post this cute idea that I used to make Halloween Mummies for my 4th/5th grade art class tomorrow morning (I made 28 of them). We are doing Creepy Art...the kids will be learning about Tim Burton, Victoria Francis and Caspar David Friedrich. Along with those amazing artists they will learn how color affects mood.  And I decorated treats for them to enjoy during the presentation and art project. Yeah my kids (the ones at the school) are just as spoiled as my two kids at home.  So check out the little Mummies that I made using full sized Hershey Bars, White Tissue Streamers, Googly Eyes,a Helmar Tape Runner and Helmar Scrap Dots.
